We complained, they said it would not happen again. He had a bowel movement & was left in it for god knows how long - the urine odor smelled like ammonia. This gent requires bolus tube feedings - how can it be that a nurse (who's the only one who can do these feedings) didn't see the condition this poor gent was in. When questioned as to when he was receiving these bolus feedings - the answer was "we know his daughter left us his schedule but we have our own schedule". The first day we found him like this both the nurse on duty & caseworker said "This will not happen again". One of the CNA's said "I'm so glad you are going to complain - something should be done. They should be investigated by the state. NOONE should be treated like this.

It's fantastic, it's a five-star facility, the staff is very professional, and everyone has been very supportive and very helpful in this transition.

Thank goodness my husband came to get me and that I had my cell phone with me to call him. My mother went to Central Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center when she was ill. They had her in a second story room that was very bare except for a bed, a dresser, and a bathroom. The place doesn't look clean, it's dingy, the lighting is horrible, people are sitting around, and I think there isn't enough nursing staff. Some of them act very caring while some of them acted like they didn't want to be there.
