The Princess Peach cake Chica made was a gorgeous addition to the table, and was decorated with more candy jewels and a large fondant crown. I covered the cake table with a simple pink plastic tablecloth and table skirt. Then I picked up some inexpensive, shiny, pink fabric and created large swags that were gathered at the corners and in the middle. At the top of each swag, we put a giant teal candy jewel. We used our hard candy jewel recipe to make lots of teal jewels for the party, and decided to make these ornamental ones to coordinate.

We used green poster board to make the giant pipes, adding shade lines on the sides with marker. The giant wall display behind the cake table started with some 30' blue plastic backdrops that we used to cover the wall. I added yellow poster board at the bottom to mimic the ground in the Super Mario Brothers games.
With tip 12 base and tip 124 petals, pipe three peach roses. With tip 12 base and tip 104 petals, pipe three coral roses. Remove crown from container and brush off excess cornstarch.
